Manchester city and Everton faced off in an epic London clash. The match was a pulsating one with both teams looking to keep their records clean after the both won their opening matches. Manchester city started on a high note by playing pressure on the Everton side.But it was the Tofees who got the lead with Summer signing Wayne Rooney opening proceedings in the 38th minute.
Things were beginning to go from bad to worse when Defender, Kyle Walker was shown two yellow card in the space of three minutes. There was lot of yellow card in the match which saw both teams pick at least 3 yellow card. Things were looking to be that the Tofees had bag three points when substitute Raheem Sterling equalled matters in the 82nd to ensure they get at least a draw. Everton Morgan schneiderlin was also red carded in the 90th minutes. That was how it ended at Etihad on a stalemate situation.
